More humus anyone?

Presidential hopeful, B. Hussien Obama, said he looked forward to meeting and working together with those who work in the religious sphere:
“for the common good of all citizens of our society, whilst respecting the principle of separation between the religious and secular spheres".

“That principle of separation, already elicited in St. Matthew’s distinction between what is of God and what is of Caesar, is a cornerstone of democracy,”

“Its implementation for the cohesion and vitality of society’s constitutive humus requires exchange of ideas, dialogue and, yes, debate, between these two spheres.

In answer to a question from La Monde, he described the European Union as:
“that historic, unique and precious project".

1 - The man has barely arrived and you've started to pick, pick, pick in that characteristically snide and smug way. Why not wait and see? What would you offer in his place? (Comment this)

2 - , I take it you aren't from D&C, since 'snide' and 'smug' are as much a constituent part of the makeup of the clergy as 'charity' and 'giving someone a chance' are not. They aren't all like that ofcouse...it just seems that way sometimes. Let's hope Noel Treanor will deal with the sneering brethren in a way that PW wasn't able to. (Comment this)
